The running of the bulls in Pamplona has resulted in a fatality this year. The latest victim was a Spanish man, Daniel Jimeno Romero, age 27, from the Madrid area who was vacationing in Pamplona with his family. He died after being gored in the neck.
So my question for the Newsvine Community: would you participate in the running of the bulls, knowing the risks that are there? I for one am just foolhardy enough that I think I'd do it! But my wife would make me pay afterwards....
There are lots of risks in life. Driving in rush hour traffic is pretty darn risky. If the cell-phone chatters don't get you, some gun-toting road-rager might.
Running with the bulls seems kinda tame next to some of the daily risks we tolerate. :)
Oh, and to answer the question...I might have run with the bulls before I had kids.
Me too, now that I think of it. They do kind of rely on you....
